Sports Coaching in Schools

We have a network of well qualified sports coaches working with our schools to support curriculum activities and deliver out of school sporting opportunities.  Our sports coaches support leadership and volunteering in schools, and help develop competitive opportunities and nurture talent.  Coaches also signpost children to appropriate local community sport opportunities.

This year we have 5 sports specific coaches working schools in the Learning South Leicestershire area, funded by Leicestershire County Council.

Inclusive sports - Mark Beeby

 We also employ sports coaches to work with schools on specific targeted projects such as Girls Active Lifestyles, Big Moves and Primary Change 4 Life Clubs.
